WCSSL Minutes for March 8th, 2022 Meeting

Reading of minutes for prior meeting was read and adopted.

Treasury Report by Tommy Hyme Checking and Savings balances are approx. $3400.00 for savings and
$3500.00 for checking.

Current Registrations are 36, with 4 confirmed sponsors

Insurance Policy was paid for the new year with copies going to City Park and County Park Officials.

Bob Thomas Reported on Stonebridge Fund Raiser. $232.22 was collected with confirmation of continued team sponsorship.

Old Business- The results of the Survey Monkey were read and there were discussions on how to maintain the integrity of our draft process.  The Board continues to to encourage and welcome players from Chambersburg Leagues.

JT provided an update on ticket sales for the Bonanza and encouraged folks to participate in this league wide fund raiser.

AJ discussed the submission of a proposal to Dick’s Sporting Goods requesting donation support. Discount coupons were picked up at Dick’s and provided to members at the meeting. We will continue to hand out coupons at practices.

New Business- additional comments were presented on dug out locations for teams.

Tim Doyle volunteered to help the Treasurer during practice sign ups.

Steve Rhymes volunteered to take photo’s of all players for the draft. 

An announcement on the passing of the owner from Mayes Septic was shared.
